Kumkum Bhagya (English: Vermillion IN MY OWN Fate, Indonesia: Lonceng Cinta) is a Hindi-language Indiansoap opera which premiered on 15 April 2014. and is broadcast on weeknights on Zee Tv set. The show is basedon the book Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen loosely. Kumkum Bhagya (Lonceng Cinta) is its Indian interpretation, whichfollows the life span of a Hindu-Punjabi matriarch, Sarla Arora, who runs a marriage hall. Sarla lives with the hope of finding her two daughters Pragya and Bulbul, married someday happily. The pivotal characters of this show are strong, feisty women,surviving in an all-female matriarchal family together. The series stars SritiJha, Shabbir Ahluwalia, Mrunal Thakur , Arjit Taneja and Vin Rana are in lead roles.The series is made by Ekta Kapoor under the banner Balaji Telefilms. Purab escaped on his marriage day with Aliya to marry Bulbul where shedisclosed to Abhi that she is the girl Purab loves. An elaborate relation starts in everyone's life.
